Bobby Cochran

Bobby’s approach to film is an intimately honest, elemental and raw visual experience, avoiding the shiny, glitzy facets which today’s technology serves up en masse. His unique ability to capture the raw & honest essence of his subjects has met with great success, validating his bare-bones approach to filmmaking, rarely seen in these days of hype, glamour and fast paced fashion.

Being a self-taught photographer and film maker with deep roots in the music business, he began as a musician and performer, then a recording engineer & producer. Now a maker of imagery, his work spans many visual worlds including commercial, documentary, landscapes, music videos and much more.

Bobby brings a passionate excitement to his work, especially when watching a scene come together, when the light, the subject and the movement coalesce in an aesthetically perfect instant; a moment of flow where everything locks in perfect synchronicity, not anticipated or planned.

Several years ago he suffered some health problems that significantly curtailed the physical activity he was accustomed to. These issues made impossible many of the activities he was passionate about and forced him to change his focus & direction. It was during this time of transition when, on a lark, he bought a camera. This new creative outlet refocused his considerable creativity from the performing/musical world to the visual realm. Within a short time (and employing the many connections from his life in the musical community) he found himself traveling with bands and celebrated musicians documenting life on the road as well as live performances. Again, on a lark, he supplemented his photographic material with filmed snippets of these times & environments, assembling short documentaries & live music videos.  This work blossomed into the next phase of his career, making full-length music documentaries and music videos that have garnered millions of views and likes.

His ground-breaking full length documentary celebrating the 20th anniversary of the founding of Belgian post-metal band Amenra (A Flood of Light) was a game changer & garnered considerable critical praise.  This, followed by a series of celebrated music videos with neo-country star Charley Crockett has brought Bobby to the next level of visual content creation.

Bradley Cox

Giant Eye creator Bradley Cox has been photographing people and landscapes for over ten years and says he enjoys every moment of it. In his youth his father gifted him a camera and he has been hooked to the magical device ever since. And it truly is magic, as evidenced in the authentic splendor emanating out of each piece. Bradley finds joy in collaborating with all types of people and sees it as a way to step into a fresh creative space that is both energizing and rewarding. He has a knack for making his subjects feel at ease in an otherwise contrived and often awkward environment. “It’s already tough for most folks to meet someone new and immediately have a camera in front of their face. I like to think I am a calm and patient person who genuinely enjoys interacting with people.”

A large part of his artistic passion is conceptual. “I dream and write what I want to see at a particular place. I find the person or the person finds me and we move through the environment together” as if the narrative is born through the unintended interactions of the subject and the man behind the Giant Eye.
